On the county clerk's web page I found this interesting notation on a court case involving RJ -NOTICE OF INTENT TO PROFFER PSYCHIATRIC EVIDENCE
What does that mean?
You can google the phrase but considering it is a closed court case you do not even know if it is indeed who you think it is and that can lead to dangerous speculation. It was closed for a reason and I am going to leave well enough alone. If it were open...

That ole plagiarism bug seems mighty contagious. A lengthy letter from Maloney to SCATS has been copied and pasted (minus the "Dear SCATS" part and first paragraph) without permission. Guess where? Your first two guesses don't count.

@ 5:29 pm I had to laugh as my second guess was correct. That same person and compay were just commenting the other day about other blogs and the cuttn and pasting thst goes on.
Maybe the person who copied and pasted from SCATS IS SCATS! LMFAO! No one could claim those 2 are one and the same but it is an amusing thought.

Since copying and pasting seems to be OK to do when under the guise of furthering discussion (as per her response over there - what, is a link to the material harder to copy and paste than multiple comments?) maybe this blog host here can copy and paste all of the posts from over there to further the discussion of those topics. Since, you know, not all submitted comments get published over there. I mean, no one over there should have a problem with that, right?

That's twice in under a week someone's letter was published without the author's permission on that site. And they pretend to rally around law enforcement, very hypocritical.
To me it is not even about permission. That copier would have let anyone believe that was a letter to her...until she was called out. I understand her not wanting to give SCATS free press but her actions are very shady. Oh and 12:31...I did not need a sarcasm font to see what you meant. A comment so nice it posted twice! But yeah-no they give me too much material to have to resort to copy/paste.
I agree normally a link back and a one line props to the owner is enough. but not when you spew about others copying. hold yourself to what you claim is your own standard, woman! you deserve to be called out. to borrow one of your favorite phrases to people you do not like - and hay i am giving the source credit, which is more than you do - you probably do not even live in greece.
To LRB ~~ What you don't realize is she's criticized me about sharing things without getting permission first (second hand allegations on her part). Apparently she has changed her mind about that being a problem, so I just might decide to share a few of her email. They contain some real doozies.
Let's update the count now ... plagiarism, copyright infringements, lying, stealing, malicious libel, defamation of character and supporting others as an accessory when they do the same things EVEN AFTER she is told there's an issue. Not bothering to correct the record is damning. She has two threads that should be very useful to me in the future ... so I copied them for safe keeping ;)

in all honesty. this particular issue is a tempest in a teapot.
Everyone who reads scats blog knows where the letter came from. They were obviously Maloney's words.
This is a case of not crediting the source of a quote.
Plagiarism occurs when you use somebody's words or writing as they were your own, such as if you give a speech using someone's text or if you submit a college paper you bought or copied as your original work.
But even then in this case who cares it is just a blog.
To 4:46PM ~~ She has a track record regarding plagiarism that came to light when she was at the D&C .. it precedes her days on her own BLOG. And when you try to "out" someone and then find out all the nasty comments were aimed at the WRONG PERSON, don't you think those comments and the references to that person should be removed as an act of decency, if nothing else?
Yeah, when are you going to share those SCATS? I thought the only reason I started this blog was to post those. At least that was what I was accused of.

She's taken on the personality characteristics of her foe - John Auberger. She rules without discussion. She takes credit for everything "good." She surrounded herself with "yes" people. Need I say more?

To 2:09PM ~~ Nope, I'm not. At the point in time that I made that statement, it was AFTER RJ said she was done with the D&C, AFTER the controversial postings were removed from their website and based largely on what RJ told me via email. I trusted that it was the whole truth. It wasn't.

Sorry SCATS, since you never did a follow up on your site sharing the truth, it leads people to believe you still think it was politically motivated. Do you think it's responsible to leave the lie on your site?

To 9:17AM ~~ I've already explained it was true at the time it was written. Why would I want to "follow up" on the revelation of all her character flaws? I don't think that would be responsible or "decent", given that she chose to leave the D&C anyway. And, I think most of my readers are astute enough to understand what transpired. I'm sorry if you aren't.
I bet she chose to leave the d&c after they wanted a real apology posted. instead of admitting she did something wrong, she ran away. of course it was the republicans fault that she plagiarized though. we must not forget that.
SCATS, admitting that you write posts before knowing the true facts surrounding an issue is the first step to recovery. Good for you.

Nice attempt at a cheap shot. What I'm "admitting" is that after her character flaws became the issue it did, I chose not to take up the controversy she started elsewhere as my "cause"... until later, when I saw a certain someone making obviously false claims on TV news, on my BLOG and on her own.
By the way, for someone who claimed to be tracking IP addresses weeks ago, you would think she would have Coffeeready, Radaronline, Greecemonkey, SCATS, DS, BS, CL, Joe Moscato, LeRogueBlogger and all of the people she says are me trying to post onto her BLOG sorted out by now. She doesn't.

I don't like deleting things but that seems like a post made for shock's sake or to just trash talk with no basis. If you don't like her views or her behavior, I don't care if you point them out and give your opinion on them. But where does a statement like that fit in? It doesn't. So I doubt I'll be keeping posts like that around in the future.
I know it may seem hypocritical to delete things like that when I am tryng to foster a free expression environment. But I do have to measure malicious gossip against that.

Joey commanded & formed the Marine Div, Youth Div, and Tactical as I recall. As previously said, Joey is one hell of a street cop with the talent to get things accomplished.
Joey is also honest enough to tell the truth, such as his statement he and Baloney don't know how Town Government works. As evidenced by statements coming from Baloney's mouth Baloney has never bothered to read NYS Municipal laws or learn how they regulate the powers of elected officials. Baloney should be fairly adept at Union law, but his statements indicate he falls short there too, or doesn't know most Greece employees are Union members.
Joe would be a good candidate for Supervisor, and will be a major pain in the ass to Hairburger if elected to Town Council. Joe will at least learn the job. Baloney will be an empty suit. Joe even said total victory for the Democraps might be a bad thing. 1 party control leads to tyrany.
The funding of this race by the Monroe County Democraps alone indicates the slate of candidates is a joke assembled to do nothing beyond embarras Hairburger & his munchkins. $400 to fund a Town Council race is an insult to Greece residents. Democraps have ridiculous candidates who aren't funded.
